KDS Flymentor 3D RC Helicopter Stabilization System Test Flight
This is my test flight of the KDS Flymentor 3D RC Helicopter Image CCD Stabilization System wit 3 Axis Gyro. In this video I demonstrate the stabilization system in Position Mode, After working out the system orientation, connections and many variants I finally had set up this unit to be rather stable, as you can see in the video I manage to let go of the controls even to the point where I leave my transmitter on the ground and simply watch the helicopter hovering and positioning itself. It works best over grass / dirt, the concrete parking area I was flying in is not ideal for stabilization however you can still see how effective it really is Regards Elias

Home-made sub-micro RC helicopter
This is my second home-made helicopter design. The first one used a home-made motor but people had problems making their own motos so I designed this one which uses a standard GWS IPS motor. The canopy on this one is actually a MIA canopy.
